About BSR
We are constantly subjected to various forms of stress in our daily lives:
• Emotional stress – all the things we worry about
• Physical stress – bending, falls, jerks or accidents
• Chemical stress – food additives and other chemicals we are exposed to daily
• Electromagnetic stress – mobile phones, computers and electrical transformers in homes and offices
We can all adapt to small, regular amounts of stress, but we rapidly reach the point where, on a daily basis, the body can just not adapt. We then live in a ‘stress overload’ situation.
When we are in ‘stress overload’, the body stores this excess stress, and it manifests as lines of muscular tension that can appear anywhere in the body.
In this negative state, a person may feel tense, tired, irritable and lacking in energy. Backache, headaches, indigestion and muscle aches and pains are commonplace.
